Fire Retardant Polyester for Machine Embroidery

Brildor PF thread is manufactured with Trevira CS fibre, which has been adapted to the technical and aesthetic requirements of an embroidery thread, for high-speed automatic machines

 

Trevira CS

Trevira CS is a new polyester fibre, chemically modified by the inclusion of a small proportion of a phosphorous-organic component on the molecular chain. The fibre is therefore rendered permanently flame retardant, whilst displaying all the typical properties of all polyester fibres.

The thread has the following certification; British Fire Standard BS5438, BS5867, EN13772, EN13773 and also has ISO 9001 and Eko-Tex accreditation.
